NORDÉS participates in Untitled Art Fair Miami Beach 2023 for the first time, with a Solo Project from the artist Chelo Matesanz for NEST Section.

Chelo Matesanz revisits in her works art, culture and traditions of the environment in which she lives, tracing links and connections between art and crafts and generating meeting points between different disciplines.

During her creative process, she inserts and assembles objects and textiles, configuring a differentiated chromatic palette through the diversity of pigmented fabrics joined by stitching and backstitching.

Her work responds in many cases to social issues using a poetic language, commitment and feminist content always conceived from humor, enjoyment and curiosity, being of great importance the titles that define each piece.

This specific project for Nest Section of Untitled Art Miami Beach 2023 consists of a montage of pieces that, as usual in her work, oscillate between painting and sculpture.
